Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Excellent, I can't say enough about the support. From telephone technical support, to user forums managed to by Esri, to external forums, they are top notch. We have never had an issue in using their support. They also have weekly webinars, to showcase new technology, and each year have the worlds largest GIS tradeshow with over 10,000 particpants. Can say enough

Ouch. This hurt. 6 months later, I don't have access to all my purchases. A lot of technical problems, and weak and very slow technical support. (3 weeks of delay for my last call.) I gave up, my suite is still not functional, no emails about my complaints. It took me way too long. Think that 6 months (about 27 hours) is not acceptable. ESRI is not for small business.

ArcGIS' web support is quite good. They also have a broad user base that is active in answering community members' questions. For more sophisticated questions, ArcGIS technical support is good at answering questions, although answers usually are not instantaneously available. I'd also say that ArcGIS is working hard at making its technical support more reachable, at least it appears that way.

The ArcGIS Support team is very well organized and seamlessly moved my customer ticket from one team to another depending on where I needed the most help. First in getting the licenses configured the Support team was critical to enable us to set up and configure the software. Then once the licenses were configured another Support team showed me the basics for geocoding using StreetMap {Premium which made all the difference.

Esri techs work super hard at solving our problems and are quick to respond. Among the best tech support in the business.

Unlike other platforms (ex: EMSI), there is no "help desk" new users can easily call into for troubleshooting or errors, and so you have to spend LOTS of time trying workarounds. This is also because the help center blog posts are usually pretty confusing, and many times do not include images or videos to help you along. Any such changes would be immensely useful!

ESRI support is easy to get a hold of, knowledgeable in the products they support, quick to involve others if need be, and generally one of the better companies we deal with as related to support requests. They never balk at providing that support even for simple how-to questions that other companies would make you feel stupid about calling for with their "did you read the manual first" mindset.

I have yet to reach out to their internal support staff. Their online documentation and forums are usually very informative in answering and debugging any questions that may arise. It would perhaps help to have a quick-chat feature readily accessible on the platform for quicker and more specific support and suggestions.
