Overall Satisfaction with Dayforce
We use Dayforce for the majority of all or our HR needs except learning management and leave management. We use the HUBS to get information to staff and have self-service to streamline employee needs. We utilize onboarding to streaming and make the candidate experience positive. We have recruiting which is nice as it is easy to hire and flows over nicely to HR. Being able to make dashboards has been really helpful and a nice addition to Dayforce. It is a great visual to tell a story. There are so many nice features with Dayforce. It is a very technical system so staying on top of all the enhancements can be a challenge.
- The Dayforce HUBS are really nice to provide information to staff. It is pretty easy to set up and navigate and was really a great new feature the last few years.
- The Performance and Compensation module are really nice. They were pretty easy to navigate and set up.
- The resources Dayforce has is great. Being able to hop on a webinar, training or sign up for an Instructor Led Training is great.
- It would be nice to see what Dayforce could offer for "leave management".
- Every new enhancement seems to be billable. It would be nice to have the newer enhancements but being a non-profit, we can get all of these and sometimes it gets confusing what we can or can't have.
- Dayforce does have some quirks. Sometimes things stop working. It is easy enough to put in a case and typically the response time is good but to be told, it was a "fluke", is sometimes frustrating.
- Recently, Dayforce came out with an audit of "Dayforce User Roles" that cost $999.00. I was able to utilize the reports in Dayforce and conduct my own internal audit.
- The time it saves managers and division leaders to be able to pull data directly from Dayforce versus setting up Excel spreadsheets.
- Utilizing scheduling in order to track attendance issues has been new to us but is really a nice and visible feature.
We utilize Dayforce for tax compliance. Dayforce is easy enough to work with if we have tax questions or get letters from tax agencies that we don't know how to handle. Having access to tax reports is nice, and being able to pull SOC data is nice, especially when auditors request it last minute.
Having the recruiting module built in Dayforce is really nice to be able to hire someone directly in recruiting and then with Onboarding, it allows for a good candidate experience. The ability to have self-service and feel comfortable that processes are set up are nice especially having workflows set up for our direct deposit changes. Adding Multi-Factor Authentication was a great enhancement to add another layer of security and has been positively accepted by staff.
- ADP Workforce Now and UKG Workforce Central (discontinued)
Processes flow nicely having all in one system and there is one contact (Dayforce) in case there in an issue. Once you understand how the system works, you will understand how the system flows. I have worked in another payroll system where we had to upload timecards. While it was easy enough to upload having the system all in one really streamlines everything and if errors are made, for instance on timecards, the system will do its own calculation and update the error in payroll.
