Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use monday.com to organize our marketing tasks and to work with our sales team to create account based marketing outreach strategies. What monday.com allows us to do is to individually keep a task list of what needs to get done week over week and to have a full scope of larger projects that we want to get done.

Pros and Cons

Set stages for each task and assign people to those stages to move projects along
Set up automated tasks to get assigned to people and to send out notifications to Slack as well as emails to contractors to work on a project
Create multiple boards for projects and the ability to review tasks by date to make sure no project slips through the cracks

The desktop app for Mac seems to have a few issues with visual glitches appearing on screen, it only seems to go away when I close the tool and reopen it
Subtasks don't show on the individual users to-do list, only main level tasks

monday.com has had a positive impact in organizing our tasks and allowing us to tackle multiple projects at once

Usability

The set up is super intuitive, easy to navigate and easy to organize for a new person being onboarded or an experienced user who needs to design out detailed tasks.

Support Rating

I have not had to reach out to monday.com customer support for anything because I feel like the documentation online has been sufficient enough to figure out any issues.

Reliability & Availability

monday.com has amazing uptime and is easy to navigate in the browser and on mobile. On desktop for Mac, there are some visual glitches that keep occurring but seem to go away when the tool is closed and re-open.

Trello

monday.com is cleaner, offers more customization and is easier to design out with a team project focus in mind. With the ability to automate steps as well, it is super easy to move tasks along, have stages auto-update and to go through my personal to-do list of tasks to get things done.

Prior to monday.com, we were using Trello as our team task management tool. What monday.com has allowed us to do is to easily create sub levels to tasks, create multiple stages for each task and to easily assign people to different tasks in a way that is visually appealing and easy to understand.
