Overall Satisfaction with PrinterLogic

PrinterLogic is used to manage the deployment of printer configurations to multiple endpoints with a light touch approach. The configuration of the printer profiles from the cloud tenancy, which is then deployed to the endpoints, combined with pushing out updates of the profile to endpoints via the same means, significantly reduces the time spent. Further, the ability to deploy printers via IP range, AD groups, and a variety of other conditions helps restrict access to printers and ensure users are using only printers they are authorized to use. Finally, the ability to link to Azure AD as an Identity Provider streamlines user accounts and security group membership, requiring only one change to be reflected in multiple places.
  • Mass printer deployment.
  • Multiple printer configuration profiles.
  • Access control to printers.
  • Lite/No-touch approach required from users.
  • Linking to Azure AD (somewhat complex).
  • Troubleshooting printer profile deployment to an endpoint.
  • Assisting with printer driver selection and suitability verification.
  • Significantly reducing time spent on printer deployment.
  • Increased security posture via security group-based printer deployment.
  • Greater environment oversight via visibility of all printers in tenancy.

Yes

Did implementation of PrinterLogic go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy PrinterLogic again?

Yes

Printerlogic is well suited to environments where one printer profile suits all approaches needed. Clients with multiple endpoints, all using the same or similar printers, receive the same profile and have that profile reapplied after each print job. This means the client does not receive bill shock when users change to color print for one job and continue to print in color, as the black and white profile is reapplied after each job.
