I use it for policies, line manager training and letter templates. It has helped us to implement up to date and consistent policies, all in same format and can easily be adjusted to suit your own business.

It made it easy for me to update policies and process. Quick way of having letters ready for employee relations matters. It has enabled us to implement consistency across the business with clear, conscise guidance for our employees, and empowering managers to improve the management skills on people matters.
It has helped me implement flexibility policies, develop the L & D available to line managers and upskill them to better manager ER issues. The regular updates give me useful information on employment legislation and tribunal cases as well as information on reward, recognition and workplace culture.
CIPD HR inform - it is just not as well developed and easy to use as XPert HR
