Prophesy Trucking Dispatch Software supports Fleet Management and is the central solution for managing every part of a growing trucking or truck brokerage operation. Users will never have to enter data twice, as all critical information flows in real time throughout every part of the user's business.
Although we are a small carrier (20 trucks with two people who dispatch during the same hours), Prophesy would be even more powerful with a slightly larger company that has multiple dispatchers that need to share information without being physically together. Multiple-office locations or companies that have employees working remotely would do well with Prophesy.
The technical support individual we normally work with is professional, proficient, effective, responsive, and understandable which are all unusual traits with techincal support individuals.
Azuga Fleet is much more user friendly. The information is the same, but Azuga Fleet delivers that information in a much easier and more logical way. The reporting functionality of Azuga Fleet is so much better than GeoTab--easier to access, easier to read, and just better overall. The only feature that GeoTab has is the school bus capability. But, it is also a much more difficult install. For the majority of our vehicles, the easy plugin install of Azuga Fleet is all we need.
The two most important features for us when deciding which provider to use were integration with third-party software and ease of scheduling drivers and matching with loads. Prophesy, for the money, excelled in both areas over the other systems we reviewed, some of which are not listed. The professionalism of the sales rep also set a tenor for the company he represents
