Clearly, there is a huge cost saving in using Brevo versus Mailchimp. As a small business, Mailchimp is too expensive. I also have found Brevo easier to use and set up, and the support team has been extremely responsive when I have needed them, even for some questions, I …
Mailchimp works on the number of contacts. Having a large number of contacts with lots of different lists depending on my clients, Mailchimp would be way too expensive for me!! In addition, when I tested it this tool was mainly in English. And the fact that it is not of French …
Well, I wanted a campaign program that is easy to use and is ready for GDPR. that I found in Brevo. Mailchimp is getting more and more complicated and expensive, but Brevo was a great substitute.
Mailchimp was the product used at my previous company, but is more expensive than Brevo, and not so easy and quick to configure. I was looking for Sendinblue, when I realized it has changed to Brevo, and this change really helped me a lot to set up the whole mailing system …

I tried to used Mailchimp looks a great alternative but also its very expensive for small projects. Zapier, on the other hand looks like it needs a special learning curve that we cannot afford at the moment. We need a simple, effective and direct solution that fits our needs. I …
Mailchimp is the industry standard - but is a bit overburdened with features. We chose Brevo because it "does what is on the tin," just what we need.

Brevo is very close in functionality to Mailchimp and closely familiar. When looking for a new provider I was able to trial Brevo very quickly due to being closely formatted in a similar way making the transition and decision to switch much easlier.

Forms are better, integrated better with my WordPress plugin and the form design has more features. Brevo was recommended to me by an agency and when I first tried to create the forms I needed for landing pages in it, it proved better, more efficient and with more features than …
The TLDR version: Brevo outcompetes AWeber in almost every possible way: content editor quality and ease-of-use, general usability, cost, effectiveness, reliability, customer service, understanding needs of clients (ie. budgets), small business focus, etc. etc. etc. Brevo for …

The main distinction for me is the database management - the fact that you can maintain a database of unlimited contacts and only be billed for the emails you send makes a lot of sense when you are just starting a business and your newsletter only goes out a certain number of …
Brevo is more cost effective and packs a lot of features the bigger companies have. Their cost is the reason we choose them and they are always evolving and adding excellent features to keep us as a customer
Better language support, custom unsubscribe pages, increased built-in functionality. We need to send messages in multiple languages and competitors do not provide enough.
Brevo - I have found to be a better all-rounder. The customization to the emails seems more advanced, being able to edit the mobile and desktop view individually. You also pay for emails sent, rather than the number of contacts. I find Mailchimp has better deliverability than Br…
Mailchimp is similar offering but ability to send transactional email from Brevo/sendinblue is definitely a step up. We have been with mail chimp for quite some time and mostly the familiarity of our users with Mailchimp is the reason for us to still use it. We will be …
Mailchimp is more premium than these tools, in one of the use cases, I have now been using them for landing pages, even if I don't run email campaigns. The tool is seamless with strict rules around spamming and unsubscriptions. You can trust deliverability with Mailchimp. …
Mailchimp compared well to both of these because it had a great combination of high quality toolset and support along with good value. Mailchimp is also a very well known brand that can be trusted, which is important when customers are interacting with content delivered via …
Mailchimp has a great feature set when compared to some of the other tools I've used, and it is a great value for the money. Even the free version of Mailchimp offers a good number of features to let you test it out to see if it is worthwhile to invest in.
Mailchimp is generally a simpler solution, and I've picked it for multiple companies because of that. I also like that Mailchimp does better on delivery than just about anywhere else. The brand is also fun and powerful.

MailChimp is an excellent tool with simplicity, features, and pay-as-you-go plans, but Sendinblue is cheaper and has more automation and list management features. Email campaign management is most straightforward with Mailchimp.
Very slow customer service support took me 3 days to reset my password. The interface is not as user-friendly as Mailchimp and their pricing is not as competitive as Mailchimp.
Mailchimp offers a complete marketing solution that an online media organization ever needs. The automation features provided by Mailchimp can not be seen on its competitors. The integration of Mailchimp with popular CMS platforms like WordPress is very easy and stable than …
Mailchimp was usually already in place and needed to be set up for growth. In general, I found that the lack of phone support at the lower tiers and the rigidness for opt-in rules made working with it long term not that easy.
I would still recommend Mailchimp to most people starting out. It's easy to use and set up and doesn't require a lot of extra support to get started. Other than ActiveCampaign or Keap, which are for larger lists and more complicated, Mailchimp is a good choice. If you …

I don't think that Mailchimp can claim to be the big innovator in the space anymore as others have had to be scrappier recently, but Mailchimp definitely has the most robust suite of tools and functionality.

Brevo is an excellent email subscriber service provider for startups, small businesses, and budget-conscious users. BUT it's real strength is that as your business scales, so too does Brevo's services. As mentioned in my review, when compared to over-hyped, and super-expensive AWeber, Brevo wins out in every singly department. Not every 1000, 10000, etc. sub list generates thousands in revenue. So why do other companies charge as if it's a large profitable corporation based on the sub number thresholds? Brevo is reasonably priced without sacrificing solid service. HIGHLY recommended.
With Mailchimp we are able to revive and enhance our personal connect with the customers. The easy-to-use tools allows us to personalize the email content, segregate and target important leads & send relevant messages. Also, it offers interactive analysis on the performance of a particular campaign. We can judge the effectiveness of our mailers in real time.
Mailchimp allows you to manage your mailing list really well. You can subscribe people, unsubscribe people manage the mailing list directly into segments, and what not.
Mailchimp has features where you can create campaigns based on your mailing lists and send out newsletters to your subscribers based on a multitude of parameters that you can setup. Such as send email daily, weekly, monthly and they also have event based mails that you can send out.
Mailchimp also has a feature where you can design your emails. The look and aesthetics are very important when sending emails to your subscribers and all those needs are addressed here.
not easy to move/duplicate sections. much easier to just drag and drop. still working this out.
don't like the logo or text included with the newsletter sign up form. have now upgraded, but think this should not be included for lower pricing plans
not getting issues completely answered by support team. currently have an issue with email sign up not working on mobile. have been told it is not working, but not given any suggestions on how to fix this.
have had unusual issue come up with a link. On 2 separate occasions, with 2 separate newsletters that went out, and 2 different images/articles/links, the link was wrong. Even though we checked it, previewed it and sent test email before we sent out these newsletters and these links were correct. It is the section at the bottom of our current newsletter. On both these occasions, when the customer has forwarded the email they received to us, the link was was to an old link - and it was the same old link on both occasions. We have asked for this to be looked into and are waiting on reply. We are going to try to delete this section this week and re-create. It is not a good look for us.
We have another issue with how our newsletter is previewing in Outlook. The images and the text are not lining up - not on every section, but on 2 sections out of the 5 sections. Also, the Read Full Article text in the button is not showing properly. Again, not a professional look for us which we are not happy with.
The interface remains a cluttered, non-intuitive mess. That's true from the haphazard way features are organized to the actual email layout.
Analytics have never been a priority, and I don't see that changing with Intuit's new ownership. I'm very frustrated over the limited choices for reporting, even when using third-party solutions. If I needed that function, I would not use MailChimp.
I would love to develop a workflow screen that lets me focus on the things that I use all the time. Customizing the interface where the content actually goes into the software would help.
I never understood why we couldn't import a document into a MC template. At best, we're spending time copying-and-pasting from one app into MC.
We've had Mailchimp for about ten years, I want to say. I started with the company about four years ago, and I don't see us ever diverting to another source. It's easy for us to use, and we have all our clients already built into the database. I imagine we'll use them for as long as we have the company.
I am a web designer and systems admin. I have not found anything with this system that was hard to use. Other systems make it hard to do simple tasks and is very limiting. SendinBlue doesn't limit you.
Our team use Mailchimp almost every week. Overall UI is simple for anyone to get started with it. The resource library around using particular features is also there, so we don't have to train our team on this product. We also used a lot of other features as well.
I have, in the 4+ years that I've used Mailchimp, never seen an issue that restricted the use of their software/tools. I don't know of a single time when they're system crashed or went down. I could be wrong, but I honestly haven't experienced any issues with outages, errors or unplanned downtime
Everything loads very quickly, it saves as you go along so you're unlikely to loose work if your computer fails. Reports are there immediately too so you're able to act quickly on customer engagement.
I haven't noticed any slow speeds from Mailchimp or their tools. I think the landing pages load quickly and look nice. The email reports and editing operates smoothly and doesn't take time to load. Additionally, when I use Mailchimp in conjunction with Zapier + Hubspot I don't notice any drag between any of these tools
These people helped me identify errors when setting up DKIM and were more than helpful in trying to diagnose low open rates with a few campaigns identifying where improvement can be made and how to more effectively manage contact lists. The support is excellent.
Website tools were easy to use and understand so a novice can easily meet or exceed their client's expectations! Loved that we were able to totally customize so that the e-mail we created conveyed our client's overall messaging consistent with their branding! Client love that we can provide turnkey services to support their sales and marketing teams!
It's pretty easy to get up and running! There's a slight learning curve on a few things, but once you find where everything is located, you can import your list and send your first email. It really makes our clients feel great to see how quickly they can get that first email out.
I selected Sendinblue because my users and customers don't speak and read English, so the french version of an email solution was the best way to answer them. Since 2017, I always recommended Sendinblue to my customers and partners, even if they use another solution, I convert them and never go back again.
Mailchimp is a means to an end and a way to stay within GDPR laws. We may not use it if this wasn't a requirement. Other platforms are better for design or management of contacts, but Mailchimp offers that secure storage of data that is required. I have not tried other bulk mail applications, so am unable to compare these.
Mailchimp over the years I've used it has grown in leaps and bounds. They have added so many additional features than were previously available. They are truly an all-in-one marketing platform now. If you're a small operation and just want to add email to your marketing efforts, they're there for you. If you're a larger operation and want to start sending postcard advertisements, they can do that. If you'd good with that and want to kick up your marketing by going social, you can do that on their platform. They are truly able to be as small as you need, but also get quite large in whatever it is you'd like to do through their system.
Mailchimp has allowed us to communicate effectively with thousands of customers with ease.
Mailchimp's use during our second year of business helped us expand our list of brands considerably (almost 30% YTD) because of regular interactions that we've launched.
Mailchimp ramp-up time is minimal for new users so I can turn things over to junior staff - saving me time and money.
