Brown Paper Tickets vs. CheckPoint

For non-profits running free trainings, Brown Paper Ticket is great because there are no fees for using the service for this, whereas most other event registration software charges a per transaction fee. I wouldn't recommend it if you are hosting a conference or other event where there are breakout sessions that you need to register people for.

If the org has more than a couple of hundred endpoints, I would recommend help from pro services otherwise the UX is going to cause confusion. Its almost as if a new customer would need hand holding because the UX is so .... unconventional.

• Don't try and import 100's of endpoints when onboarding because it will create a mess

I have used Bloomerang's event management option, which is not very easy to use or pliable when it comes to customization. Evite - not professional enough Regonline - not very user friendly and the fees are a bit high. Qgiv - Very easy to use and has great reporting. However, there is a fee to use it for free events.

There is no clear leader for anti-malware, all have strengths and weaknesses, nothing is good or great at everything.
