Likelihood to Recommend Certain is very well suited for any type of event or tradeshow that require specific fields from registrants and an automated email sequence to keep them engaged. It's less appropriate for one-off events, since setting up those pages can be quite complex if you're used to the types of Eventbrite/Sympla. If you don't really build event pages regularly, I'd recommend a software that's more simple, which should address what you need.
Read full review Prior to working at my current employer, I used other platforms such as Webex and Zoom. ON24 is significantly more user friendly and allows a lot more customization for events. It also has less bugs or technical issues. I would highly recommend that any adult learning spaces be conducted in ON24 over its competitors to guarantee a better client experience

When we have struggled to upload some files, they have been quick to respond to the tickets. The tech support team has both uploaded files for us and have also investigated why we were running into the problems. They uncovered an issue with our slide template having links to google elements which was creating a problem. There was another issue I reported that has been validated as a bug and I have been getting weekly emails letting me know that they are still working on fixing the issue. The Knowledge Center offers a wealth of information to help users self-serve and trouble shoot as needs present. ON24 offers frequent webinars about improving engagement, using generative AI, and unveiling significant new updates to the platform. These have all been really helpful. Now, Certain does not present a feature to create dashboards, so we have to export their reports and create our dashboards ourselves. UX when setting up an event: Now this can be quite complex, as it's not as easy to use or intuitive. Many different tabs with many different sub-items can present a confusing experience for newcomers when building an event. It's simple to use, extremely customizable, and scales very easily. The integration to our CRM makes ON24 major lead generator for our sales team from our established webinars series. We can automate lead delivery to our sales team as well. If anything, we will look to expand our partnership in the future.
Read full review Usability 97% of our attendees say it is the best trainings they have every attended. But they other 3% have a horrible experience (while watching the event live) interesting fact. On24 uses two different encoders for live vs OnDemand. I have never had issues with the On-Demand experience. My only complaints come during live events
Read full review Reliability and Availability ON24 is always available when I have a question about a new feature, if I'm having issues during a live webinar, or if I'm having issues with a webinar on the backend. Our client support specialist, Heather Haines, has always been incredibly consistent with getting me the answers I need when I need them.
Read full review Performance Loading depends on how large the files in the webinar for us - sometimes it takes up to an hour to upload and that impacts the loading when the webcast is playing. Overall I'm happy with the performance, however if integrated with other systems it does tend to slow down the process
Read full review Support Rating ON24 support is really good with the 24/5 support chat line, where someone actually responds within 30 seconds. The customers success team is also really good and our rep is very helpful with all our questions. Whenever we have more technical questions, she will bring on a IT designer or a tech specialist on our calls for additional comments and help.

I would highly reccomend the trainings and reading the documents they have created. They also do live webinars on a rolling basis that are filled with so much knowledge and Information

Read full review Alternatives Considered My company selected Certain and continues to use Certain because it is quick, easy, and efficient. We create up to 20 registration links a year and Certain allows us to create templates to copy and create annual event links very fast. I also love that there is someone there to speak to if I ever need assistance

Our firm values the ability to completely brand each element of the event, from registration, email communication and the full event console. We also find the Certification tool to be instrumental in our continuing legal education course catalog program. Without ON24's tracking behind the scenes for us, we'd be issuing certifications manually

We are still in the process of determining which webinars work the best for our leads, but enjoy the trial and error process and the options are limitless!
Read full review Return on Investment Certain helps to deliver a great customer experience, since it facilitates automatic email delivery and your company can keep them connected well before or well after an event. Certain presents a wide variety of reports, which perfectly addresses any request for visibility coming from your organization. Certain's configuration settings are quite complex, so our newcomers are not comfortable using the software at first. In case you need a more visual representation of your audience, Certain, unfortunately, does not generate dashboards.
