Central is a cloud-based remote monitoring and endpoint management solution enabling IT professionals to monitor,
manage, and secure their endpoint infrastructure. Whether it is used for remote employees or endpoints scattered across the globe, the vendor promises that Central
provides IT organizations with the speed, flexibility, and insight needed to
increase productivity, reduce IT costs, and mitigate risk.
ConnectWise Control is far superior just on price alone. Logmein Rescue's pricing is ridiculous in comparison. The ease of use from the end user is similar with both products. However, the technician side of the software is significantly better on the ConnectWise Control …
ConnectWise Control was more reliable and cheaper than TeamViewer and LogMeIn however the support wasn't as good when there was an issue. ConnectWise Control is a faster solution however we did experience crashes every now and again.
We like the functionality of ConnectWise and the ability to create custom groups and packages that help with deployment of the agent on our client workstations. Overall it's a more robust and flexible solution that suits our needs.
We used a few other products before we found ConnectWise Control. While the other products worked well for us, the vendors kept raising the prices to the point that they became unaffordable for a small company like mine.
We had used LogMeIn for many years until they raised their prices dramatically; so that is when we started looking for an alternative, which I am glad we did. After using ScreenConnect, there is no comparison as it is so much better and faster.
ScreenConnect has about the same options but it's integrated better with ConnectWise. We used GoToAssist but it got expensive. Since we already have ConnectWise this was a no brainer.
ConnectWise Control beats all others hands down. It is my favorite remote connection tool due to ease of use and speed of connectivity. My customers love how quickly I can connect with them.
ConnectWise Control is much cheaper for unattended access than LogMeIn Central, and allows access to multiple users. I still use RescueAssist as well as it is cost-effective for ad-hoc sessions.
This is not even a comparison. ConnectWise Control is so good that even though we have a baked in copy in our Continuum RMM product, we still find the need for efficiency is so great we pay for a separate instance of ConnectWise Control rather than spend the extra 2 minutes …
We replaced LogMeIn Central with ConnectWise Control when the LogMeIn price became untenable. We found that ConnectWise Control did everything we needed and more at a very reasonable price point.
I used TeamViewer for the longest time as a young IT professional, and had a fair dabbling with LogMeIn and MSP-Anywhere. Each of those solutions has polish in some aspects, but none of them ever had the complete picture. TeamViewer suffered rampant security issues, and has …
ConnectWise blows both of these away in so many ways. Logmein in is clunky, it is a pain for customers to install and sometimes it just won't work. Not to mention it is expensive, and nowhere near the value.
I don't hate TeamViewer but I don't love it either. ConnectWise still …
ConnectWise offers better pricing, better client management, and faster access all at a better price than anybody else out there. While the competition typically charges you yearly per client, ConnectWise allows you to have an unlimited number of workstations and only charges …
Selected screenconnect because we only use it for remote connection and transferring files. It was a lot less expensive and allowed us to replace LogMeIn Central and LogMeIn Rescue subscriptions saving us thousands per year in fees.
I cannot add RemotePC to my list above but we looked at it, too. We used LogMeIn for several years but they kept on increasing the prices until we had to find a more cost effective solution. ScreenConnect costs less than one third that of LogMeIn with better functionality and …
LogMeIn was a very good product with excellent features. Our biggest problem was cost and limitation on number of devices in a price range we could afford. Price instability was a concern as well.
We also reviewed Bomgar and liked a lot of the features. However, there was a …
LogMeIn was once a good piece of software to use. Although it was too clunky to be able to get clients to install the client onto their machine. Price skyrocketed through the roof which also didn't help. The performance of the actual remote control session was actually pretty …
The closets of the above mentioned would be screenconnect and we do have some clients that use it. screenconnect is a little cheaper for the client to use compared the LogMeIn Central by GoTo but the overall ease of use is better the LogMeIn Central by GoTo. AnyDesk, RemotePC …
Pricing with Central was more competitive and the feature set was close. We did prefer some features of Control however the pricing model was much better for us with Central.
We have always found that our clients preferred LogMeIn Central even if they had to pay a little more [for] it! The interface is simple to use, and it's available for so many different platforms.
TeamViewer is a much faster connection, but doesn't seem as secure. LogMeIn has one ability that the rest do not have, which is that it can share connections to PCs to other users.
ScreenConnect is much more resource heavy. If you're not using the cloud version that is. ScreenConnect is easier to install on other computers and doesn't require a local admin to run. There are just as many features to both programs. ScreenConnect is a lot more expensive, but …
I didn't select LogMeIn as it was too expensive for my needs. I spent weeks looking for an alternative and ended up using DameWare for local support and ConnectWise Control for unattended access, remote support, and meetings. Using both of these was cheaper than a single …
None of their features match or offer ease of use like LogMeIn Central in my opinion. I must say that ConnectWise is someone LogMeIn should watch out for. They are not as bloated or expensive, just not as feature rich like LogMeIn Central. I have always had a good experience …
My company has used LogMeIn for so long that it would be extremely time-consuming to completely switch. That being said, it is a superior tool to other remote access software such as TeamViewer. While the competitors are worthy, LogMeIn is still the best in class. That is …
