Google Meet, formerly Hangouts Meet, replaces the former Google Hangouts as the company's G Suite integrated web conferencing tool, allowing users to join meetings directly from a Calendar event or email invite from a computer, phone, or conference room. G Suite's Enterprise edition also creates a dial-in phone number for each meeting, as an additional convenience.

Each of these tools have their own advantages but Google meet is a great tool when it comes to having an entire package right from sending out an email to syncing the calendar and then having the meetings.
Google Meet has almost all the same features that other applications offer, basically you dot need to worry about missing features since you're at the same level. Google meet has a modern design, light application with a very easy UI.

The decision was easy to make, although Google Hangouts Meet, Skype and Zoom met the initial objective, we were inclined to choose Google Hangouts Meet because it not only does a much better job, it is easy to use, it's secure, and guarantees confidentiality in all connections, …
Google Meet is my all-time favorite thanks to its many features and the fact that it is affordable. The software also integrates well with other Google products.

The price will always stand out, as it's cheaper than the other software out there for small meetings (less than 100 participants). The connection to the servers is great as expected The features are not really the best of Google Hangouts Meet for teaching kinesthetic learners, …
To maintain in-depth and frequent communication, we use Google Hangouts Meet because the conversation is stable and flexible. We can achieve our goals through effective communication; communication with suppliers and purchasers is significant.
They all have their strong suits and seem simple to use. Google seems to be the most widely used out of our contacts and keeps us all connected easily. Our company has also deemed Google to be the most secure out of the choices so we use it as our primary way to connect.
All of the above perform about the same. I would probably say that the audio and the video quality is probably superior to the other apps. Also, integration with other social media platforms is superior.
Zoom has an advantage over Google, as it has better audio and video quality. The host has more authority over attendees. Zoom also has an advantage that it can used in any web browser while Google Meet can only be used in Chrome browsers. When it comes to the free version, …
I did not select GoTo, we tested it for a while and stayed with Google Meet and 3CX and sometimes Vimeo for specific purposes. We think it has great features to offer like remote control and simple user interface but unfortunately, all other platforms that have been in the …
GoTo Meeting is the best option because each user doesnt need an account on it to use it and it doesn't require a subscription for each user, only the meeting organizer needs the subscription. Google Meet requires everyone to have a google account and Teams requires everyone …
It is a step above Google Meet but a step below Zoom. We chose Zoom at the end of the day because an organization we acquired had been using Zoom, so for ease of use, we switched over to it. Google Meet has minimal functionality and really is just there for virtual …
GoTo Meeting stacks up well against Teams, Slack, and Google Meet in terms of functionality, features, performance, and productivity. The only major downside as aforementioned, is the Cost, which is considerably more than the other 3 and Zoom. GoTo Meeting is very much our …
Greater audience. No lag. It doesn't shutdown sound when the resources are lost. Easy to learn for the professionals. Very good product to use. Sound quality is good. You can effectively present as if you were in a conference room. Setup is easy and the functions are great. It …
As I have used same multiple platforms, to my expeience and understanding it's much more reliable. It works on low bandwidth. It's quality of audio and video confercing is highly remarkable which allows us to build a strong relationship with the client. Also it beacuse of this …
GoTo Meeting showed great strength in offering more stable meetings which have more clearer visuals and audio as compared to the other options. Also, GoTo Meeting is much superior in offering great sync between the video and audio which makes our meeting discussions clear and …
GoTo Meeting was the one, which in the period of pandemic and thus need, offered the best price. Not absolutely, but it was not necessary to reorganize the structure and require a great effort from IT. Moreover it was immediately accepted by the teams and well implemented in …
Goto meeting has strong privacy policy in terms of users data than other competitive platforms and maintains data centres in all regions in the world. Goto is widely used by people in every organisation.
All the requirements like easy setup, and no worry about to link all apps in one place was the key factor to choose GoTo Meetings, also, it seems like this app is e2e encrypted and does not use data for marketing and other purposes. User interface is also easy to understand and …
Interface was more seamless, connecting unrelated parties was done with more ease, and features such as slide shows, Q&A, and polls integrated into meetings in a more seamless manner. Aesthetically it is more pleasing, and accessing different features such as screen sharing and …
We like goto meeting due to it's features and specifications. It has best calling quality and clear screen sharing feature. We also used some others products but they have high prices and less features as compare to goto meeting. We spent most of amount on other products but …
For online meetings with a few participants (50-), I would go with GoTo Meetings; it's fast and simple to schedule the meeting without any dependencies on any SW or addon. On the other hand, Webex is more robust and reliable in big meetings with a lot of participants …
Compared to other software on the market, I feel that GoTo is easy to use, allows good interaction during the meeting, has a friendly layout and is stable in use. I liked the tool and, certainly, it is something that adds value to the work and brings benefits to the people who …
GoTo Meeting has the edge from all of these video conferencing because of the free trial that you can use that does not require such a tedious way to set up.
GoTo Meeting has basically the same toolset as the others. Teams fits better with our organization's structure, but GoTo Meeting allows us to accommodate external contacts who consistently use GoTo Meeting. I do carpentry when I'm not wearing my IT hat. I have several hammers. …

Right there with some of the other top video-conferencing platforms as it has great visual clarity and the sound/audio is high-quality. It doesn't have any lagging issues and it doesn't cut in-and-out regardless of how many users in on on video-conference. GoTo Meeting is easy …
Google Meet was a perfect video conferencing solution for us during our training sessions. The only problems encountered were due to weak signals, which sometimes required us to turn off our video. All features worked very well in tying together a team across four different time zones. I was very impressed with the tool's performance
GoTo meeting is great for quick and painless virtual meetings. I have used it many times to quickly organize projects and staff into a simple meeting. Generally speaking, we have been able to share screens, cameras, and collaborate on important projects. Where it starts to fall short is in the presentation or training area. It is difficult for students to interact with things like reactions, taking control of a screen, or letting the presenter know they have a question.
Audio - many of my customers cannot use PC audio because their microphones are not recognized
When I send out a meeting invite from Outlook, the message includes a default link to Teams, so there is much confusion at the time the meeting starts. Most users end up in Teams while I wait in GTM
The screen share options are quite confusing for my customers. They never know what to share or how to share
This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom
While we have found GoTo Meeting to be very useful and a part of our normal way of doing business, there are alternatives that are more cost-effective. For example, Microsoft Teams is available as part of our M365 subscription. This will require us to complete a cost analysis to determine which product makes more sense for us to move forward with.
Google Meet is very easy and simple to use. I can schedule a meeting right on my calendar - it literally takes a few seconds. There is no additional app I have to open to schedule anything. Guests can click on the link easily to join any meetings. 10/10!
The simplicity of GoToMeetings desktop, mobile, and web-based applications make it a very robust and user-friendly meeting solution. At times, it may be more complex than needed, but it is nice to have so many features that can be used if needed. Once installed, it is very easy to use and navigate.
Google does a great job of providing tech support for this product, as it does many others. Similarly, Google has FAQs that cover a large amount of issues faced by users. Problems have not persisted in our use of this product. Problems are resolved quickly and easily, with or without personal Google support.
When we have issues, they seem to respond quickly and do everything they can to help us. They have even tried to find other ways we could get more use out of their product, or improve the way we are currently using it. Overall, their support has been fairly good for us.
The main positive feature in Google Meet over Zoom to me is the fact that Google meet can be seamlessly deployed in the browser with its full functionality. Unlike Zoom for which you need to download an extra application to use. This consequently makes workflow smooth when transitioning between something like emails and taking part in a meeting.
We use Zoom for the entire organization because it’s far more cost effective. But, my role as training manager requires my use of GTM to allow all the required features that make my training sessions the most productive. I would always prefer to use GTM over Zoom because the platform is so easy and user friendly yet amazingly powerful. Zoom has the features for the most part, but they aren’t as intuitive to use in my experience
I wasn't involved in the unit pricing factor. So far I used Google meet in the office where I got access to all these Google applications including the Google Meet feature. So I wasn't involved much in this pricing factor of Google Meet and also regarding the contact terms of the product.
This is very good in the professional services as I started using this first for the professional service only. While using this Google Meet itself gives a professional feel as the UI works in a professional way. The video background modification, multi-screen feature, and some other features help in professional service.
Negative: on each webinar someone from our team had to write manually the people that were participating and after that matching it with the registered people list. We wasted time. It could be easily resolved by adding the export list feature
Positive: Collaboration and internal meetings. Calendar integration helps us save time.
