HelpWire is my secret weapon for jumping into client issues. Crystal-clear screen sharing and annotation tools make troubleshooting a breeze. Plus, the built-in chat keeps communication smooth. It's also fantastic for grabbing screenshots and collaborating on visual guides directly on the client's machine. Think of it as a virtual shoulder-to-shoulder collaboration tool. However, for advanced system administration tasks, large deployments, or super secure environments, other software might be a better fit. HelpWire shines for one-on-one remote support, troubleshooting software, and collaborating with clients – perfect for my tech writing needs!

RemotePC is very well suited for remote administration and remote access to own PC's. Larger scale implementations might require integration and gateway server. Mobile access best requires a tablet however without a mouse navigation can be cumbersome. Multiple connections on one PC seems currently not supported so a one on one link for the time being

  • UX/UI can be improved.
  • Sometimes the screen freezes but connection is not lost so we can close the window and open again.
  • It's an amazing App but most of the people I know have not heard about it. I think company should spend more on marketing.

We felt a lag in movement of mouse on AnyDesk but on HelpWire we do not face any such issue. The movement of cursor and mouse is as smooth as working on your own system.

Although TeamViewer stands as the top product for remote support, the same goes for its pricing. A small business like ours wouldn't be able to afford software like TeamViewer and we would never be using most of its features. On the other end, Splashtop is an affordable option, but its deployment is a little too complicated. RemotePC was our choice, with an easy deployment process and a pricing program that's easy to understand and within our budget.
