Likelihood to Recommend HireRight's background checking has some improvements and could hold some more historical data more than 150 days. We have had employees move from one jobsite to the other for this client and we can't look up if they have had a background check done through HireRight before if it is more than 150 days, so we end up ordering another one and duplicate/pay for extra background checks
Read full review Truework may not be ideal for companies with a large quantity of complex earning codes, as the code mapping can get messy. We've found some difficulty with finding a solution for international companies we have acquired. Otherwise, Truework has suited us very well, and sends us emails to complete verifications for someone they can't find in the records we've sent over. We utilize a good number of contractors and we've decided not to send that information to Truework, so we always need to do those manually when Truework lets us know the associate in question can't be found.

We shared our data and they were able to convert the information as per they requirements. We spent very little time in integrating with them. They take a long time to process requests, and we are often told that they are unable to assist us with items that, we know from personal experience, is within their power to do. Collection Site Network is difficult to maintain if you plan to add any additional sites aside from HireRight's preferred partners. Sometimes, we value convenience over minimal cost savings, and the setup time for these sites is too long. Once added to the system, there is no way for us to distinguish between custom sites and the sites HireRight has preferred terms with. Communication of service interruption. When issues arise outside of scheduled maintenance, we often hear about it from our users, not HireRight. When we follow up with support, we never receive ETAs for a solution, so we have no useful information to pass along to our hiring managers. It is very frustrating when the product is not working at 100% and we have no idea when we can expect it to be fixed. Read full review Customer Support management could be improved. She helped me with the integration side of things which was delightful because that can be somewhat confusing. She always responded to my emails and my needs in a very good timely manner. Can't complain about the support at all.
Read full review Truework has been recognized by Forbes as a fastest growing company. They are willing to expand their business and build new relationships. During negotiation they gave us a good deal, which shows that they are willing to let the customer evaluate their services over time. The team is also very prompt in responding to questions and proactive in initiating questions for clarification.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I enjoy HireRight much more as I am able to have more customizable features in the application as well as run reports that allow me to have increased efficiency in the hire process and know where all employees are in the process at any point in time. We selected HireRight due to these features as well as the decreased licensing cost.

It is the second-largest network for income and employment verification. Moreover, it has simple and easy-to-understand scenarios which are illustrated by easy-to-understand examples.

We customized our template for the information we consistently need and fill in the demographics. I would say that the ROI is 100% - we have been able to vet out the less desirable candidates based on some of the information.
