What is BoardSpot?

BoardSpot is a board management software built with integrated governance best practices and designed for non-technical board members as well as busy administrators. BoardSpot does not charge a per-user fee, so as the size of the board changes costs remain predictable. The company offers four plans, each optimized for a specific size of nonprofit. Personalized administrator training is included at all levels.
  • The Essentials Plan is ideal for small nonprofits. It supports up to 30 members, and includes all of BoardSpot's core features, including the member directory, unlimited document storage, the meeting agenda builder, governing documents, and calendar integrations.
  • The Standard Plan is for mid-sized organizations, and supports up to 50 members. In addition to all of the features included in the Essentials Plan, the Standard Plan also includes role-based permissions, private committees, guest seats, the meeting minutes builder, voting, attendance tracking, and reporting.
  • The Professional Plan is for large organizations. This portal supports up to 150 members. On top of all of the Standard Plan features, the Professional Plan includes two full boards and the array of committees for each. With the Professional Plan the nonprofit portal can also leverage an organization-hosted calendar. Data migration services are available so getting the portal set up is made faster and easier.
  • The Enterprise Plan is for robust organizations with specialized needs and multiple boards. Along with every portal feature, the Enterprise Plan can accommodate custom API integrations, same-country hosting, and/or other customized requirements. A dedicated customer success manager, data migration, and white-glove onboarding will ensure the board portal delivers value and equips the board to achieve it's goals.
