What is Bridge Patient Portal?

Bridge is an enterprise patient portal and patient engagement solution for healthcare organizations and their patients. It can be used by organizations as an EHR system's patient portal, connect disparate EHR environments with a single patient portal, or to consolidate patient engagement tools. Bridge engages patients with automated electronic communication, and multi-platform access to health, financial, and appointment information. Its goal is to help healthcare organizations improve patient-physician collaboration.

Bridge offers a mobile-ready solution for secure SMS/email/push notifications, self-scheduling, health information access, patient-provider messaging, and bill pay. It is available as a client-branded HTML-based web application as well as a mobile app, available for iOS and Android. With Bridge's API, customers can also develop their own interfaces, add-on features and run advanced reports. Its month-to-month contracting with scaled pricing is based on patient registration.

Bridge Patient Portal Add-Ons Include:

Bridge Pay - Online bill pay and point-of-service transactions with eligibility and financial management tools. Email, text, and push notifications alert and engage patients about upcoming bills to accelerate payments and improve the patient experience. Integrations with payment gateways and Revenue Cycle Management and Practice Management systems allow patients to view their entire financial picture in real time and pay their bill online in compliance with PCI.

Bridge Scheduling - Integrates with EHR and PM systems so patients can book, reschedule, and cancel appointments in real-time. Automated reminders can be sent based on patients’ preferred communication channels.

Bridge Virtual Care - A telehealth solution for healthcare providers to either operate a virtual-first or virtual-only practice or a hybrid model, switching between face-to-face and virtual visits. Bridge Virtual Care leverages Zoom for Healthcare and enables healthcare organizations to connect telehealth into their visit workflow.

Bridge Mobile - To launch a branded mobile app for iOS and Android supported by a suite of pre-built features, or custom features. Bridge Mobile supports multiple EHR & RCM integrations and offers advanced patient authentication and security.

Bridge Intake - to send forms to patients before an appointment and collect key information in a single step. From demographic and clinical data, to consent forms, insurance and payment information, patients can conveniently fill out all required forms online and bypass extra time in the waiting room. Bridge Intake can be accessed through the patient portal, a client-branded mobile app, or by an SMS text invitation sent before a visit.

Bridge Tasking - Consolidates patient requests and portal tasks, then distributes these tasks to the workforce. Patient engagement tasks are automatically created based on a custom criteria and through events from Bridge’s patient engagement platform. Tasks can include items such as contact us forms, appointment requests, failed payments, payment plants, medical record requests, etc. Automatically prioritize, assign, and reassign tasks to staff or caregivers based on custom factors and unique workflows.
