What is ICANotes?
ICANotes is a web-based Electronic Health Records software (EHR, EMR) for psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. ICANotes helps clinicians make computerized patient notes and records without typing or dictating. ICANotes is web based so the user can connect to behavioral healthcare records from any computer with an internet connection.
ICANotes is used by psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, counselors, nurse practitioners, group therapists and other mental health and behavioral health clinicians in hospitals, clinics and private practices across the country.
ICANotes EHR software creates individualized mental health records with little or no typing or transcription expenses. ICANotes supports sub-specialists working with substance abuse patients by creating initial assessments, progress notes, group therapy notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. ICANotes self-codes, and the highest permissible evaluation/management Medicare/Medicaid service code is automatically calculated. The vendor states that the self coding feature of ICANotes EHR has been tested and confirmed by numerous surveys.
