What is Leap?

Founded in 2016, Leap is subscription-based software for home service contractors that automates steps in the sales process from estimating, proposals, and contracts to financing, payment capture, and e-signatures. Integrating with the user's home improvement software, Leap aims to eliminate redundancies and errors that slow down the sales process.

Leap capabilities encompass:
  • Estimates & Bidding - Digital project estimates with product and pricing information.
  • Proposals & Contracts - Proposals that help customers see the value, and enable the user to close the deal with digitally signed contracts.
  • Financing & Billing - Leap partners with lending providers to offer customers convenient financing options and fast on-site approvals.

Leap includes the capabilities of the former JobProgress, acquired in 2022.

Community Insights

TrustRadius Insights are summaries of user sentiment data from TrustRadius reviews and, when necessary, 3rd-party data sources. Have feedback on this content? Let us know!

Users have provided several recommendations based on their experiences with LEAP.

One common recommendation is to try the trial period to understand the program's capabilities. Users suggest taking advantage of the trial period offered by LEAP to get a better understanding of the program's features and functionalities. This allows users to assess whether it meets their specific needs before making a commitment.

Another recommendation is to consider other options instead of LEAP. Some users advise against using LEAP and recommend exploring alternative solutions. While not explicitly stated, it is likely due to concerns about the product's suitability for small firms with complex or multiple matters.

Lastly, many users highly recommend LEAP for its excellent customer support. They appreciate the responsiveness and helpfulness of the LEAP tech team, highlighting their ability to provide prompt assistance when needed.

Overall, these recommendations provide potential users with important insights into factors such as program capabilities, suitability for different firm sizes and complexities, and the level of customer support provided by LEAP.

Our sales & operations teams were using 3 different kinds of software: proposals/estimates/presentation, sales CRM, and operations scheduling/tracking/etc.

We were able to reduce that to one by implementing Leap (formerly JobProgress). Also, because the mobile platform is so robust, we were also able to go paperless. It also integrates with other vendors we were using simplifying our processes.

Leap (formerly JobProgress) helped us automate and simply our processes. We chose it over competitors because we were able to customize it to the different service offerings we provided - other platforms seem to be designed for one type of service or another making them problematic. We were able to reduce the number of software providers we use and integrate others that we were using separately.

It is designed well to track [potential] jobs, but it does not work well for tracking business development opportunities.

  • Reduced cost - moved from 3 software providers to 1
  • Gave field technicians greater capabilities and moved to paperless processes
  • Automation and simplification of processes
We evaluated close to ten other platforms including Dataforma, Job Nimbus, AccuLynx, Propeller, FCS, etc., but chose Leap (formerly JobProgress) because of the flexibility it offered - customize our service offerings and how jobs flow through our process, automation through the process, integration with other vendors, and ease of use for the office and field.

It takes a lot of work to set up because of all the features that are customizable, but it is worth it - once it's done, it makes everything easier.
