Segments.ai is a multi-sensor labeling platform for robotics and autonomous vehicles. Segments.ai’s labeling platform is used to label across multiple sensors at the same time to improve the quality of all data across the board.
The solution provides segmentation labels and vector labels with labeling interfaces for images, videos, and 3D point clouds (lidar and RGBD).
Objects in point clouds can be annotated in just a few clicks. Users can upload point clouds of unlimited size, then label them with interfaces and tools such as the merged point cloud mode, the batch mode, and automated tracking.To label and correct objects and regions, machine learning labeling models are here to help annotate objects with segmentation, bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, and keypoints.

Multi-sensor labeling
Segments.ai’s multi-sensor labeling platform can combine 3D point cloud data and 2D image data in the same task, to produce the clearest picture possible. After uploading 3D data, 2D image data can be added to make it easier to annotate and categorize point clouds. Afterwards, Segments.ai will project those 3D labels to 2D labels to verify that every object is labeled and that the labels match across both data sets. This helps to create consistent labels across modalities and time, and more accurate data to feed into machine learning algorithms.
