(1-23 of 23)- Low-code platforms like Twilio Studio have the opportunity to be genuinely low-code and not just advertised as such, compared to other “low-code” platforms
- Integrations between its various products
- Brand visibility and awareness
- Technical support
- Segment’s email identifier is case-sensitive, which is ridiculous because emails themselves are not case-sensitive. This means that if I send a capitalized email address in an identify call, it will create a duplicate user rather than matching it with the lowercase email. I think this is a technical oversight that should be corrected.
- I’d like to see more information about the eventual transition of existing Frontline customers to Twilio Flex
- I’d like to see some integrations between Twilio Studio and OpenAI or another open source LLM to provide automated responses, if this hasn’t been done already
- I would like to be able to drag and move the actual lines connecting the steps in Twilio Studio, sometimes mine can get pretty messy
- I think a Bug Report form would be beneficial for developers
Twilio is reliable for whatsapp business integration
- Whatsapp Business API integration
- Easy to setup
- Excelent developer documentation
- The UXI is a bit heavy, it can be improved
- Analytics not so easy to understand
- Should warn before suspending the account
Twilio was the right choice
- Firstly Twilio has very good technical documentation, everything is clear and undestandable
- Secondly the web panel is very intuitive
- APIs and SDKs are also easy to use and integrate
- There are multiple data centers (US and Ireland) but not all services are available in them. Due to GDPR regulations i would prefer to use services in Ireland but not all of them are available there
Best in class communication services
- Documentation
- Developer Guides
- Support
- Account Transfers
- Finding Owned Resources
Twilio is one of the most interesting call routing services
- Twilio's API is so easy to program that we can create a complete network of calls routed and connected to each other in the most complex way possible, where all kinds of operations are applied, from screening to call transcription processes.
- Its communication system takes omnichannel mechanics from other services and optimizes them, making communication very extensible.
- There are several shortcomings within the Twilio platform, mostly in the area of real-time monitoring management, since Twilio does not have advanced tracking tools to keep smoothly auditing operations that need to be performed.
- It does not have a programmable alert system, which forces us to depend on another service to manage the alerts in case of relevant calls at a certain time.
Massive and Reliable!
- Simplicity
- Fast
- Massive
- Perhaps the error logging could improve -- it is sometimes a bit vague
Communication via API
- It helps in sending SMS via APIs.
- Helps developers to programmatically send and receive SMS.
- Twilio use intelligent feature to send Emails.
- Well, everything is good still we can improve the layout of the app so every user can easily use it.
Highly efficient tool, good support service
- Plenty of options of channels to offer as part of the tool
- Integrations
- Automating actions, such as emails and SMS confirmations of orders or support tickets
- Experienced some technical issues in the past
- Not the easiest to set up (initially) - this was the first time I used the tool
- IT executives would find it easier to set up rather than marketers - it would be good if the tool was aimed more at marketing. This said product support is good
Twilio text messaging through CRM
- Integrates well with other platforms
- Easy to setup
- Support is good
- The application for mobile phones
- Adding a feature where you can lookup numbers to see if they're a landline or cell
- More mobile friendly use
I work with busy clinicians all day and they're usually in session but need to communicate quickly to get questions and concerns answered. I am able to quickly respond to them via text and send them important information that they have at their fingertips. I can also send out auto-texts to new clients so they're being taken care of right away.
One of the best software/tool that I've ever used.
- They provide you all the numbers that were available in a certain country.
- Their security is very very tight for their customers.
- Very easy to use and navigate,
- Lags on their website.
- Long time to load a certain page.
Twilio is Tops
- SMS text messaging
- incorporate multiple channels into a marketing campaign
- Broaden customer engagement
- Better dashboard/reporting
- Incorporate more channels like social media, direct mail, etc
- Pricing is fair but I'm seeing alternatives pop up at competitive prices
Twilio SMS API for live chat platform
- Provide/release SMS.
- Texting via SMS.
- More visible logs.
Easy go with Twilio
- Whatsapp Communication
- Programmable Voice
- Email
- Video
- Required coding knowledge
- Customer Support
- Pricing need to be improved
Experience with Twilio
- Easy implementation with channels (WhatsApp and webchat) that are already predefined.
- Using Twilio studio you can define paths with whatever you want to happen.
- It has a good support to be able to consult about problems.
- Shortage of numbers to be able to operate, it has happened to us that in a country where we want to operate there are no numbers currently available. And if there are, the actions that can be used are limited. This is in South America (our case).
- The documentation too basic for some cases that you want to do. If one does not know the language in this case React counts a little to understand how to continue working. (Twilio Flex)
- There are some features that are still very green or in beta. For example, being able to obtain the name of the person speaking through the Facebook messenger channel. For Instagram there is nothing official to use, it has to be configured by hand. As if you have more than one number to call, you have to customize something to work.
Twilio, the lead[er] of all things cloud
- Easy to see my team in one place, when they log in and out and what call status they are in.
- Twilio is a simple, user friendly way to log in and out of work activities.
- Excellent services and support.
- The omnichannel feature which allows agents to get request from all channels.
- Documentation can be improved for training and learning.
- You will need an IT team to implement this solution or need to pay for PS work.
- Getting the logs is a bit difficult for support.
A programmer's communication dream
- Customization.
- Price.
- Documentation (easy to implement).
- Speed.
- It is not a direct consumer tool.
- You will need an IT team to implement these solutions.
- It's a very specialized tool.
Great for Triggered Text Message Notifications
- Competitive rates in the market are being offered.
- It is cheaper compared to the rates we would be paying if we are to use the services offered by regular major carriers.
- The API isvery convenient and easy to set up in the back end for operational use with different platforms.
- It does not directly integrate with Oracle
- Have to use a third party plug-in to connect to Oracle
- There's an issue when viewing/searching for SMS transaction logs. When you search for the logs using phone number as a search tool, sometimes the results will not show up.
- If you export the log, you only get 100 or so rows so you can't extract all of your log data.
Twilio SMS is Simply Efficient!
- No actual phone system is needed
- Easy to integrate and the API is simple with lots of documentation and examples that can help you get the best use out of it
- Being able to create automatic responses based on key customer data points helps make communication that much more efficient
- The control panel can be a bit confusing; could stand to be a bit more streamlined
Twilio - often paying more is worth it!
- Very reliable service
- Consistent deliverability
- Well documented
- Copilot telephone number pooling
- Expensive compared to competitors
- Version control can be wayward in docs
- Unable to download more than 10,000 logs at one go
Leading us to be next level
Their API was very easy to understand and make it work with our projects. Ever since we are using Twilio with all our projects.
- Their fast and secure API
- Easy documentation and amazing customer support
- Detailed log for all activities
- SDK for all programming languages
- Pretty much everything seems okay to us, though I would appreciate it if their pricing went down a little bit.
Twilio Works for Me
In practice it works like this. A webpage, social media ad, or search engine ad displays the message, "Text 'jobs' to ###-###-####." The prospect sends a one-word text that says, "jobs" to the number provided. That number is one that I purchased through Twilio and connected to my chat application. The initial message starts a text conversation with either a bot or a person and the prospect gets his or her questions answered.
By connecting applicants to a human or a bot instantly, we can usually increase our clients hire rate significantly while reducing the time it takes to schedule interviews.
- Twilio provides reliable phone numbers that we can track to gain analytics on how they are used.
- Twilio provides phone numbers that we can connect to chat applications so that they can be initiated via text message.
- Twilio provides excellent tech support.
- Twilio's setup process can be a bit tech-heavy, so if you aren't used to using APIs and integrations, you may want to have someone set it up for you.
- Twilio's usage analytics could be more comprehensive and user friendly.
- This might seem picky, but Twilio make you use a overly complicated password to login. I use at least a dozen online tools and this is the only platform that does this to me. As a result I can never remember the password and I always have to look it up. It's not a major negative, but it is a hassle when you're super busy.
You obviously don't want to rely on Twilio for making emergency calls, because, although their up-time is extremely good, they are susceptible to internet outages.
Twilio Voice, easy choice
- The "insights" feature is very useful when it comes to supporting our users. Both VoIP and Carrier insights give the ability to know what happened on a call
- Twilio is very reliable as a dialer. We do not have downtime events often (maybe 1 per year for 10min).
- Twilio has a team that can work with carriers to improve dialing for users where the carriers are not working well
- Support can be difficult because Twilio has access to more data than we do. This requires us to go to their support team rather than doing it ourselves.
- Twilio's web interface can be difficult. They make a lot of info available via the API, but do not package it well in their interface. Billing, for instance, is nearly unusable in a large setting.
It's less appropriate to implement just for a single small office. The level of effort over time really only pays off if used by many users or customers.
Twilio SMS services are AOK :-)
- Twilio's interface (web site) is very intuitive and modern to use.
- Twilio's services are growing. We started to use their phone number formatting service (free) to recognize what country the phone number came from and how to format it in their locale.
- We plan to use additional services in Twilio like using multiple local phone numbers for some of our larger clients that send tens of thousands of text messages.
- Twilio's logs could be better. There are times I want to report on how many outgoing and incoming SMS messages I have sent via the app. This information is obtainable but could be improved upon by more filters.
