What is WinDeveloper Message Recall?

WinDeveloper Message Recall is a server-side solution created to enhance the success rate of message recalling in Microsoft Exchange. It specifically caters to small to large organizations using Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010, including those utilizing Windows Small Business Server (SBS) packages. This product is utilized by business professionals, IT administrators, legal professionals, healthcare organizations, and financial institutions.

Key Features

Server-side Recall Processing: WinDeveloper Message Recall processes recall requests at the server level, aiming to improve efficiency compared to the native Exchange functionality that handles recalls at the recipient's Outlook client.

Recipients Unaware of Recall: Successful recall requests ensure that neither the original email nor the recall request reaches the recipients, ensuring that they remain unaware of the recall. This sets it apart from the native Exchange recall system, which may not automatically process recalls if Outlook is configured not to do so.

Effective Recall for Local and Foreign Recipients: WinDeveloper Message Recall handles email recalls for both local recipients within the organization and foreign recipients outside the organization. This is particularly valuable for recalling emails sent to external recipients, as the native Exchange solution may not be effective in recalling those emails.

Accurate Success/Failure Notifications: WinDeveloper Message Recall generates notifications that are identical to those of the native Exchange solution. When a recall request is successful, email delivery is blocked for all recipients. In contrast, the native Exchange recall system may only succeed for some recipients and fail for others.

No Additional Client-Side Software: Users can recall emails directly from MS Outlook and the OWA web interface without the need for additional software. WinDeveloper Message Recall does not require the installation of any new software on client computers.

OWA Recall Extension: WinDeveloper Message Recall provides the ability to recall emails directly from the Outlook Web Access (OWA) browser interface, filling a gap in functionality that is not available in the native Exchange solution.

Support for Exchange 2007/2010: WinDeveloper Message Recall is compatible with both Exchange 2007 and 2010, ensuring seamless integration with these versions. It also supports Windows Small Business Server (SBS) packages.

Comprehensive Recall Attempt Logging: WinDeveloper Message Recall logs all recall attempts for auditing and tracking purposes, enabling administrators to effectively monitor recall activities.

Archiving of Recalled Emails: Administrators have the option to archive emails that are successfully recalled, facilitating efficient record-keeping and compliance with data retention policies.

Flexible User Control: Administrators can specify which users have the ability to recall messages, providing granular control over the recall functionality within the organization.
