Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect was used to facilitate virtual leadership development & coaching classes. We were in search of a more expansive & immersive virtual classroom as much of our curriculum transitioned to a virtual format during the pandemic. We were looking for a platform which had features beyond our standard Microsoft Teams meetings.
- Allowed upload of course materials.
- Customization of classrooms for various courses.
- Ability to save classroom set-ups for future use.
- The audio connection did not allow for various call-in options (mixed dial-in & computer broke breakout rooms)
- Videos lagged for users & often froze so, it was determined the issue was not on our end but Adobe Connect's
- Required additional set-up time for users pre-session; we often had to connect with users one on one to complete this.
- Due to user issues, we had participants that opted to cancel class registration or no-shows.
We ultimately ended our use of Adobe Connect due to continued issues, lack of resolution & loss of participants. Currently we are using Microsoft Teams as it is our primary communication tool at our organization.
