Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Payroll processing - We capture time in SAP Fiori and an interface transfers the data to Ceridian to process Payroll.
  • Very easy to use interface from SAP Fiori to Ceridian DayForce.
  • Ceridian Reporting is easy to use and even easy with creating your own custom reports.
  • Easy front end access for employees to access their Payroll forms and paystubs.
  • There have been a few instances of users being locked out of Ceridian due to recent upgrades. Not ideal when an employee wants to see their paystub and is suddenly have login issues.
  • Not the best for when an employee is transferred to another country as their employee number is locked to their SIN or SSN. And, we are required to create a new user record with a new employee number for the new country.
  • Easy to integrate to SAP Fiori an BlueWorx
  • The efficiency within Ceridian DayForce has allowed our Payroll department of only 2.5 FTE handle paying ~3,000 employees.
  • Easily handles the differences and nuances in our multiple bargaining agreements. Everything from different pay schedules and unique rates/bonuses for some of the most detailed/granular CBA details.
Easily handles and uncomplicates compliance with various union rules, pay schedules, and varying increment increase schedules.
Only used for Payroll at this company, so no major impact to hiring or performance decisions. It does the most important thing...ensuring our employees are paid accurately. Ceridian has made taken the difficulty out of deciphering the details between our 4 different CBAs.

Ceridian is well suited for transferring time data between systems to ensure employees are accurately compensated based on their time.

Ceridian is not ideal when an employee has transferred to a different country. (As previously mentioned, we are required to create a new user record which with our setup requires the existing employee to be hired in the new location).

Using Ceridian Dayforce

3 - Payroll processing for a company that has 4 different CBAs to deal with and 3 different pay schedules. Ceridian makes all of these challenges easy and allows our very small Payroll team handle their workload.
1 - HRIS Analyst with a background in Payroll

  • Knowing various CBA knowledge and removing the potential for Human Error
  • Easy out of the box reporting and very customizable reporting solutions
  • only 2.5 FTE in Payroll to pay over 3000 employees
  • Report creation has been huge in helping provide an improved snapshot to the executive team.
  • It would really depend on if we grow into more Ceridian offerings.
  • Possibly integrate DayForce reports into the day to day reporting for all levels of the organization
DayForce has made it easy for our emplyees to access paystubs and even easier for our very small Payroll team handle processing Payroll for 4 different CBAs on 3 different pay schedules.
