Overall Satisfaction with Concrete5
I've utilized Concrete5 for various projects, big and small. This content management system is ideal for projects of all sizes and is quick to implement a user-friendly CMS. As a designer/developer, I often recommended Concrete5 both to my company and the clients we are building websites for. Many CMS's don't give users the ability to easily know what and how to edit their content. Concrete5 helps to alleviate that issue.
- Quick to set up
- Easy to understand and use
- Great community of help, themes and add-ons
- Not the easiest to set up for blogging
- Because there's a small user-base, there may not be as much support as other systems
- Not all plugins are free
- Increased customer updating efficiency
- Less training time
- Less overall build time
I've utilized other content management systems such as Wordpress as well as a custom-built CMS used by a university. It seems that all content management systems have their strengths and weaknesses, but in terms of getting a project completed with an easy-to-use interface that's understandable for clients, I'd rank Concrete5 as the best for that scenario.
