Overall Satisfaction with CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection
CrowdStrike is used across the entire organization for all of our endpoint protection needs. In addition, we have recently deployed the firewall protection module. While it doesn't have the needed firewall feature for FQDN rules, we know that this feature will be coming in the near future. In all, CrowdStrike has been a great product and one that I would highly recommend.
- Endpoint Protection
- Indication of Compromise Investigations
- Central Administration
- Firewall needs to have FQDN rules
- Reduced risk of ransomware.
- Ease of use.
- Efficient centralized management.
CrowdStrike was superior in every way to Symantec. This extends from the ease of use of the system to the helpfulness of the sales team. We struggled for years with a large amount of false positives and difficulty managing the Symantec software. Within weeks of pushing out CrowdStrike, we reduced our management time in half.
Yes - We replaced Symantec Endpoint Protection and Windows Firewalls. The administration of Windows Firewall is too cumbersome to be done with a tool like Symantec or CrowdStrike. The Symantec engine needed to be replaced because it wasn't adequately protecting us and the administration time was extremely inefficient.
CrowdStrike was recommended #1 by three different paid consultant firms that we used to help us modernize our IT Security Operations.
