Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
Dynatrace is being used by a specific department currently. As our expertise with this product increases, we will likely migrate existing application monitoring technologies into Dynatrace. The operations team has traditionally used various monitoring technologies that we want to integrate into one platform to increase issue correlation effectiveness. Additionally, we'd like to integrate alerting and incident management into Service Now.
- Application discovery
- Automated base-lining
- When filtering by time, it seems like certain clicks will send you down a trail that no longer illustrates that you're filtered by time.
- Management zones assist in correlating problems more effectively
- Significant reduction in time taken during P1 issue discovery
- Kaseya Network Monitor and SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor
These technologies seem to be primarily reactive. Kaseya alerting is particularly difficult to set up and can create very chatty alerts with too much information. These products do not recognize relationships between applications. The ability to integrate log monitoring into Dynatrace's event correlation makes this product superior to the problem analysis offered by these other products.
