Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Charts is being used by our organization to create graphs and charts for our team and for our clients. I love that it integrates with other Google products. It helps us store data and visualizes data.

Pros and Cons

Customization is very easy.
Very easy to be able to share a lot of the reports and charts.
The graphics look awesome.

There are portions where you need to be able to code in order to make edits.
Embedding the charts can be a bit difficult.
I wish there was offline access and editing.

Alternatives Considered

Google Charts is free so it was a no brainer for our company to use. There may be other products out there that have more functionality or are easy, but they are not free.

Usability

Google Charts is a very useful tool. It is not very hard to use and pick up. If you want to make more complicated edits you do need to code which is a bit of a limitation.

Support Rating

There is not really any support. Maybe if you paid for a paid plan, they would offer some help, but there is not any besides that.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Charts is well suited for just about any company that wants to create graphical charts. It is a free tool so there is not really any reason to not use it.
