Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In here we make AI based products and for that we need Google Drive first of all to store the training data, basically I am in the OPS side of the Project and in here I create flows that streamlines the development and for that I and my coworkers need to be collaborative and for that Google Colab works well which is again provided by Drive, then its integration with Google cloud makes it very easy to use Vision AI and other GenAI based facilities provided by google itself, Google cloud AI is also being used by us and it is best for training the models and the data used for the training and the models which we used are also stored on Drive as it is secure and we make use of Drive for timesheet management also.

Pros and Cons

Its integration with Google App Script, we are able to streamline the process of storing the files and generating reports by writing scripts
Integration with third party applications as slack, PowerBI, Grafana helps me a lot personally for monitoring purpose of our models
Version History also is great thing as we store training data we maintain versions also on Drive
Integration with google services as Colab, sheets, Cloud, AI Platform which makes it easy to work in one environment for training and deployment of my models

As we have lots of training data and files, we would love to see tagging and sorting of files based on keywords
As we have loads of data the processing is too slow for uploading, downloading and other sorts of processing so performance optimization is needed
Better file versioning and storing metadata about changes made

In my case the data collection and storage while management of the data as versioning, securing, analyzing and generating the reports from the data was one side where I have used Google Drive extensively, and also storing scripts and configs at one place for further integration testing also is a place where Drive suites well, Due to its slow processing on large data the high volume data which needs real time processing as financial one is the side where it is not suited.
