Overall Satisfaction with Informatica MDM

We were hoping to use this as our data management solution. We wanted something modern and robust however in my opinion this is not what we found when using this product.
  • Some UI is easily used
  • Configuration Migration
  • Works well if other informatica products
  • Some of the UI seems outdated
  • Overall feels rather basic
  • Clunky system
  • Compatibility w/ other Informatica products
  • The clunky system forced us to move in a different direction
  • This really hindered our goals so we needed to switch providers
We moved to Reltio which has its own issues but there is more of a feel of constant improvement with them that allows us to stick with them that Informatica did not have

If you just need something basic, this could do well for you however once you start finding that you have more needs, the issues start to show. In my opinion the UI needs help and that alone is a problem for me as it makes the whole system feel and behave poorly.
