I use Mailchimp to send broadcast emails to my list and automated sequences when visitors opt-in to my list. Mailchimp enables me to connect with my followers fast and relatively inexpensively.

Mailchimp has fast and helpful customer service as compared to these competitors. While the feature set might be more limited, the price is significantly less. I have also found the platform to be much more intuitive.
Mailchimp's platform includes features tools such as email list management, landing pages, marketing automation, and basic CRM. As a small business, this has been beneficial because it saves us time and money, while also allowing for us to scale our marketing efforts.
Mailchimp has helped to keep our audience engaged while striking the right balance of effort required of our team. The number one lesson that I learned along the way is to be consistent. Our audience stays more engaged if we're in contact with them on a predictable schedule. Mailchimp's marketing automation and scheduling features make this easy.

Yes - Mailchimp replaced MailerMailer, which we had been using for years for email marketing. Mailchimp was selected because of its deeper feature set and fair pricing.

As a small business, the price was a determining factor. I was lookign to strike the right balance between product features and affordability, and Mailchimp was that balance.
I would have probably gone through more thorough demos of the products. I lucked out, and Mailchimp was a great fit, but my evaluation process was not as detailed as it could have been.

No - I do not pay for premium support because the standard support has been sufficient up until this point.
I cannot recall ONE TIME when I was provided exceptional support because every time I had an interaction with support, it was handled promptly and professionally.
