Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint / SQL

DBS that supports the SharePoint server in my case 2016 is either created automatically, which is good for DB admins, with the SharePoint wizard configs, or manually by DBS admin when they configure the SharePoint server a problem could be that Microsoft does not support directly querying or modifying the databases.
  • You can use some BI solutions with SharePoint Server 2016.
  • A great feature is AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Failover Cluster Instances solutions.
  • Setup reporting services with SharePoint Server 2016 you create a report server. that's cool.
  • You can't install office online server to use excel online.
  • Service applications DBS in partitioned mode cannot be created from central administration.
  • Something good is that You can configure alerts to notify you when the production server fails.
  • ROI for ms SharePoint/SQL considering that is the best database engine with excellent features that help you to have all information in your hand.
  • Something negative could be license format.
  • These are the best relational databases in the market with powerful features that complement your system.
Simple: MS Sharepoint/SQL is the best and robust databases motor now are incorporating some features in order to improve users and DB admins experience.

Yes

Did implementation of MS SharePoint / SQL go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy MS SharePoint / SQL again?

Yes

Because it is practical and has the most suitable functionalities and it has a knowledge database where you can find all the situations that can happen to you in your work area.
SharePoint/SQL is one of the best database managers compactible with all programming languages, that said I consider it the best.
A simple and important scenario well suited is that you can configure alerts to notify you when the production server fails. another best feature is the report server is the central component of reporting services. For me something less appropriate is that the admin must ensure optimal performance for farm operations, they recommend that you install SQL Server on a dedicated server that does not run other farm roles and does not host databases for other applications.
