Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase
Quick Base is used in a variety of capacities to improve the overall operational experience and improve workflows. It is used across multiple departments to quickly and easily develop applications to meet a myriad of business needs. This includes efforts to track some basic invoices, records, or other complex tasks.
- Basics are easy to learn
- Can get incredibly complex
- Intuitive
- Limited targeted walk throughs.
- Time savings
It creates a source of truth that allows for clear effective communication between teams in real time. Quickly and easily being able to associate database entries, modify reports, and draw connections between data is incredible. We effectively used Quickbase to manage national medical records collection efforts across multiple states for HEDIS and Risk.
Quickbase allows for on-the-fly application development or modification of existing applications to manage changing needs. Need to track a new data field? Add one in a couple of clicks, add to reports with a few more, then use the upload functionality to populate the fields in seconds if the data already exists somewhere.
Quickbase allows you to draw connections between data and attribute those data disparate datapoints easily. We effectively managed the complex project of medical records collection for HEDIS and Risk using an entirely remote team across multiple states. Using the built-in functionality we were able to easily keep data up to date with frequent data refreshes tieing data points to unique identifiers across the project.

- Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
- Improving collaboration across one or more teams
- Solving a specific business challenge
Based on my experience with the product and organization, QuickBase has allowed the organization to quickly develop and maintain custom business applications without needing to invest in professional development.
Depending on what you want to update within Quickbase, it can be easy to update and maintain. Maintaining basic entries and forms is rather easy to deal with or making basic updates. Once you move beyond basic updates to data, such as adding new fields or making new relationships, it can get a little more cumbersome. It isn't hard, only time consuming to go through and move items or relate to fields and tables.
We have leveraged the user management capabilities within Quick Base to control who has access to what data within the application. This is particularly useful when dealing with HIPAA and PHI issues.
