Overall Satisfaction with QuoteWerks
QuoteWerks and QuoteValet are the platforms that our Sales and Accounting Departments use on a daily basis. It is used to prepare/deliver quotes, email quotes to customers/prospects, and to process orders without having to transcribe everything into QuickBooks. We also have it integrated with Sage CRM.
- Easy Quote Building from scratch or from a Quote Template
- Easy Quote Delivery to Customers/Prospects
- Easy Order Acceptance via QuoteValet for Customers/Prospects
- Love the Text Message Notifications about Accepted Quotes in QuoteValet
- Integration with QuickBooks for easy transcription of Orders
- Love the ability to create Email Template Options when you don't upload to QuoteValet
- Love having access to QuoteValet online to make comments back to Customers/Prospects
- It would be great if you could select Drop Down list items using the mouse scroll wheel
- Able to create quotes quickly and get them sent to a customer/prospect
- Easily convert quotes to orders and import them into QuickBooks without having to manually create an invoice
- Easily look at the History of a quote using the Properties option on the File menu
We used to use QwikQuote back in the late 90's and early 2000's. While it was pretty easy to use, it didn't have all the bells and whistles that QuoteWerks has to offer. I don't remember why we stopped using it, but we ended up writing our own quoting software.
The home grown quoting tool that we wrote was good for us because of all the things that we customized into the initial build. However, we didn't have regular updates and it required our Accounting Department to build an invoice based on text that got recorded into Goldmine's history.
