Overall Satisfaction with Schoology Learning
We are using Schoology Learning as our primary means of educational delivery to both on-site and virtual students throughout the course of the pandemic. Using it has allowed us to keep some sense of instructional delivery intact while some students are at the school and some are not. Additionally, it will be able to be supplemental training material in the future when we do return to full-time attendance.
- Ease of use for the students
- Allows for organization that fits different instructional models
- Straightforward interface that allows both teacher and student to easily navigate.
- Reliability
- Lack of frequent synchronization
- Victims of their own success
- Grade sync
- Usage analytics
- Inclusion of other services into the delivery platform
- Adaptive to different teachers course delivery needs
- Allowed us to be able to deliver content when it was impractical to do so in any other manner.
- Teacher buy-in towards their curriculum development has increased as it has become necessary for them to make the content digital and reviewable at any time as opposed to only when being evaluated.
- Canvas, Infinite Campus and Moodle
Schoology fit the right price point, was a familiar platform for some of our students because they use it at their other schools, which were two reasons we did not choose [an] Infinite Campus. Additionally, we used Moodle before, but it was not as robust for the areas that we wanted to move our learning management system into.
