Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard
Vidyard is vital to our organization. We use it to host videos embedded on our website. We use it for embedding videos in email campaigns. We use the video hub on our website. I love the closed captioning that keeps us ADA compliant as well as giving us the translation options.
We are big fans of the event function and we get viewers completing the form at the end of the video and sending it in. Overall, Vidyard is high functional, high value for us.

- Ease of use. You don't need training, you can log in and go to work
- Organizing and curating your video assets is simple
- Closed captioning is very easy and very good
- I'd like to be able to see more players in the home page
- I'd like to see the closed captioning be more automatic
- We are an ADA compliant and global company. Having the ability to quickly create closed captioning on our videos is a tremendous advantage.
- We invest in video because we know it is effective. The metrics Vidyard provides help us see how effective our videos are and heat mapping shows us where to make changes.
- Curating your digital assets is important. Vidyard makes that easy. In a small department you count on applications to save time. Vidyard does that well.
I've evaluated Hubspot, Pardot, Salesforce.com, SalesLogix, and Wistia. Wistia is also a video hosting platform. Originally I selected Wistia because their price was lower. I really wanted to go with Vidyard, but we had never used a video hosting platform. At the time, the price differential was an issue. It was an issue because we didn't fully understand the concept of video hosting platforms. After less than a year with Wistia, I had regretted not getting the platform that I really wanted. At the end of our agreement with Wistia, we switched. We've been very happy ever since.
