Overall Satisfaction with Xero
We're a CPA firm serving small businesses, and set up our customers on Xero to track their business finances.
- Visual design -- this makes Xero more intuitive and even fun to use. As well as saving time and effort.
- Flexibility -- the technological infrastructure allows the Xero programmers to adapt the financial data to multiple uses, and continue to push the edges of innovation.
- Add-on ecosystem -- Xero has built around it a forward-thinking add-on community that solves more sophisticated use cases in elegant ways.
- Accountant integration -- Unlike other providers, Xero's vision includes the accountant as a support to the business owner, and it shows in how they build the software to enable collaboration between the accountant and business owner.
- Some people may not be ready for how Xero looks at accounting from a completely different angle than traditional software. It can take a mindshift to get used to it, but once you do, you see why, and how it makes it so much easier in the long run.
- Xero is building out its reporting functionality, with reports that are more powerful than those historically available from similar providers. However, in the short term a smaller report set is available.
- Xero's mobile app was one of the first of its kind when it first came out, but the developers realize it's time for an upgrade and one should be forthcoming soon.
- Better ability to collaborate with customers.
- Easier access to data.
- Actually enjoyment working with information.
