Even though I transfered all my important files from C partition for this reason. I was devastated, and more so that this young person told me the files can't be recovered. Lucky for me I remembered this software that we often use at work. I'm not sure for when it's less appropriate, it's not really a tool someone needs for every day use, but once it's needed it really solves what you need

• It can recover files even outside the recycle bin
• I also use it to can the drive and recover individual files
• It can also recover data from damaged or formatted partitions

• The difference between Quick Scan, SuperScan and Last Chance is not exactly clear and it could be explained better

It's practical and has specific purpose which it fulfils
