TrustRadius Security Practices

The security of your information and the authenticity of third-party information on our site is important to us. TrustRadius uses the following features and technologies to ensure the security of your information.

  • Web browser encryption. To access the full set of capabilities available through www.trustradius.com, your Web browser must support 128-bit encryption and Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2 or later protocol. These technologies provide the highest level of security and privacy when you provide or access information in our system.

  • Authentication via LinkedIn or work email address. In order to register, contribute content on our site or access any of the members-only content, users must login using their LinkedIn credentials or work email address. Using LinkedIn for authentication makes it easier for our members since they don't have to worry about an additional password. Both methods of authentication ensure that our membership represents the business professionals it is designed to serve, and that we are able to collect the metadata to contextualize every reviewer's perspective.

  • Email verification. In order to register with our site, you must prove that you have access to the email address that you provide at registration.

This is done by clicking a link or entering a code that is sent to that email address.

  • Time-outs and "rememberme" cookies. All sessions are discontinued after a period of inactivity. Persistent cookies used to bypass the login process (i.e. rememberme cookies) are only accepted from the IP address where they were issued and are only valid for a few days.

If you are accessing the site from a public computer, you should log off the site and close your browser when you are finished.

  • TrustRadius employee access. TrustRadius employees who are allowed to access the system must authenticate using both a strong password and one-time password sent to their registered smartphone thus providing two-factor authentication (i.e. something you know and something you have).

If you have questions about these Terms or otherwise need to contact TrustRadius for any reason, you can reach TrustRadius Customer Service at support@trustradius.com or TrustRadius, 5114 Balcones Woods Dr, Ste 307-322, Austin, TX, 78759.
