The only reason to shift from liquid web to Amazon Lightsail is the cost. Amazon Lightsail's cost is very low as compared to liquid web.
Chose Amazon Lightsail
Amazon Lightsail is ideal for beginners looking for a low-cost VPS to try out new things. It's especially useful if you're at a hackathon and need a quick way to prototype a quick idea. I would never recommend Lightsail for any kind of production work. In terms of uptime, …
Chose Amazon Lightsail
I believe Lightsail has worse support than DigitalOcean and the pay more for better service model is not great as most customers are trying it for the first time. They are both very fast to set up and get started, but we went with AWS Lightsail because we were familiar with …
Chose Amazon Lightsail
Linode and Digital Ocean are far more reliable than Amazon Lightsail. I would recommend against hosting any production applications in Lightsail. Even for prototyping, I would also suggest using the VPS provider of your choice for your production application because you can …
Chose Amazon Lightsail
Amazon Lightsail is a great platform. Before we started using it, we were using AWS EC2 instances as our primary servers after being dissatisfied with other providers. After Amazon Lightsail's introduction, we were able to reduce our operating costs, improve our quality …
Azure Managed Disks
Chose Azure Managed Disks
We have been using miscrosoft products from the start so it was quite natural to go with Azure Managed Disks as it would be very easy to integrate with other products that we have in use and obviously the knowledge most of our engineeirs have also played a big part it, so we …
Chose Azure Managed Disks
MS Azure managed disks are easy to manage and implement compared to other cloud storage / disks. It is functional for a lot of apps to create data bases and support new apps without configuring for 3rd party platforms. This is almost impossible with other services that provide …
Chose Azure Managed Disks
Azure Managed Disks comes with rich security features that includes encryption capabilities. Accessing, managing and transfering data is easy, which was a big advantage for our clients' final decision to choose it compared to other competitors.
Chose Azure Managed Disks
Azure has a longer history of capabilities and service. On an institutional basis the product has served our back office at a higher level than we perceived with GA.
Chose Azure Managed Disks
Since we are using many Microsoft Products, Azure Managed Disk was a better option. I have used Google Cloud Persistent Disk in a different company and it was equally good.
Chose Azure Managed Disks
Azure Managed Disks is the most effective data storage platform that has given us the most reliable services in our company. It enhances data security and data backup plans that contribute to better workflow infrastructure. It gives us hope of our continuity in case of any lost …
Chose Azure Managed Disks
It is a cleaner setup since we are already bought into the Microsoft Infrastructure. Without the ecosystem they have built at Microsoft, we would not have such a seamless experience. While AWS is simpler to use, it is not set in the same model as how the Azure system is built …
Chose Azure Managed Disks
Azure Managed Disks stacked up very well against Amazon Elastic Block Store. In the End it really came down to the fact we are running numerous other Microsoft Azure products and Azure Managed Disks would fit nicely into that ecosystem. We had less ramp up for training and …

Amazon LightsailAzure Managed Disks
Likelihood to Recommend
It is best suited for the small applications which do not need much CPU powers to executes tasks and when integration with other AWS services but it is less suited for the applications which need very frequent auto scaling for the performance purpose, as AWS Lightsail did not support system downgrading so not recommend to use in this case.

Usability
My overall experience with Amazon Lightsail is very good, and the online community of Lightsail users is very large and its helps to resolve any kind of issue i faced on my server. I also like the integration of other AWS services with Amazon Lightsail like we can export our Lightsail instance into ec2 server using snapshots.

Alternatives Considered
Amazon Lightsail is ideal for beginners looking for a low-cost VPS to try out new things. It's especially useful if you're at a hackathon and need a quick way to prototype a quick idea. I would never recommend Lightsail for any kind of production work. In terms of uptime, Lightsail has proved unreliable. Occasionally, the instance will simply crash or reboot at random. Without warning, Amazon will perform maintenance on your Lightsail instance. Lightsail's networking is likewise lacking, with no support for IPv6.
