Carbon Black EDR vs. ThreatCure® ShieldOps Platform

Carbon Black was an effective system for automatic remediation. It was difficult to utilize regularly, however, and did give a number of false positive in our usage. However, it was integral and exceedingly important and performed as it was designed to. The user interface was not terribly intuitive, and while abundant technical information was available regarding the threats we were experiencing and remediating, the surface-level pane contained more information than was pragmatic given a large number of safeguarded systems and too few specialists.

ThreatCure Guardian Care services enable us to block C&C connections from some of our infrastructure systems. They told us that they had seen lateral movements in the early stages, which may indicate a ransom attack. They later provided us with a comprehensive report detailing the threat actors who were utilizing an insider threat in this.

• Process Tree which show series of workflow which clear and easy to understand.

• Would suggest ThreatCure red-teaming services.

The interface is crowded and overly technical, and took intensive learning efforts to understand and use granularly, effectively. We enjoyed using the product, but did not see a clear advantage in this area to competitors--most platforms work the same way and have a similar structure. Its threat detection capability was strong

While some items offer perfect sight, others fall short in other respects. The ThreatCure ShieldOps platform provides our management and incident response team with a 360-degree perspective. This facilitates quicker decision-making for the future. Furthermore, ThreatCure has an opex model, but other suppliers require significant Capex investments, which is an added advantage of SMB organization like us.

• Increased visibility across the enterprise for threats
• Rapid ability to investigate and remediate threats
