ITRS Geneos is an IT infrastructure, application, and transaction flow monitoring solution. It is targeted towards the financial industry and its data transaction and performance monitoring needs.
It is a good product that is robust. They have a free version that makes the value good. If it cost money then the install and plugins would need polishing. But overall it is a good product that does what it says it does. But definitely not for beginners you do need some knowledge to set it up and get it running

ITRS Geneos support is well managed by its wide variety of options like live chat, query submissions, 24/7 on-call support, self help and of course well-documented details about its features and troubleshooting methods. ITRS Geneos is being used by many big size organizations because it is a stable product with a good pool of knowledge available about it.

Centreon does a good job against these products. Of courseCentreon can be free and that is what we used. So it is not quite the same the other products are more polished and support is readily available. But Centreon is still good and if you have some knowledge can work just as well

Every tool that competes in the market with ITRS Geneos has its own capabilities and shortcomings. For our project, ITRS Geneos stands out since it is a stable product with a long history of serving large organizations with huge number of components to monitor. ITRS Geneos has upgraded itself to a new and better GUI interface and has offered integration with different tools.
