Check Point Endpoint Media Encryption and Port Protection (Pointsec) is well suited for Microsoft Windows environment. While, for MacOS it is less appropriate.

It is cheap enough and handles the very basic functionality we need from it fairly well. Since we can pay based on a per-user license and invite guests to lockers, it is far and away the cheapest option for End to End Encrypted file transfers from employees to HR/Management

• Requires authorized passwords and logins from end users.
• Utilizes voiceprint recognition to validate users.
• Allows for a one time login from end users working remotely away from their desks.

• Types of devices to control needs to be added like McAfee and GFI Endpoint Security.
• Device whitelisting needs more granular level like by Vendor ID, Serial Number, Device ID etc.
• Device Control and Media Protection on MacOS to be added.

Cheap and able to scale based on number of users needed at a given time. Not locked into a fixed user contract. Most other services also don't actually have zero trust zero knowledge end to end encryption, or it requires stepping up to a more expensive enterprise version. Purpose built for our basic needs

• We cancelled DocuSign largely because of NordLocker which has saved us thousands.
• We also no longer host an AWS GovCloud instance which is not as expensive but also requires VPN traffic and licensing.
