Check Point Endpoint Media Encryption and Port Protection (Pointsec) is well suited for Microsoft Windows environment. While, for MacOS it is less appropriate.

Overall, Trend Micro InterScan VirusWall is a solid product for the cost. I have used their support several times and their support engineers are well rounded and very knowledgeable. They know the product inside and out. I have used other products in the past for security on endpoints, like Webroot, and will never go back after using Trend Micro InterScan VirusWall.

• Utilizes voiceprint recognition to validate users.
• Allows for a one time login from end users working remotely away from their desks.

• Light and does not take resources away from PCs and servers

• Types of devices to control needs to be added like McAfee and GFI Endpoint Security.
• Device whitelisting needs more granular level like by Vendor ID, Serial Number, Device ID etc.
• Device Control and Media Protection on MacOS to be added.

Trend Micro InterScan VirusWall is lightweight and does not impact performance on a PC or server. It can be installed on both PC and Mac. I have used Webroot in the past and it had a significant impact on performance of PCs and servers. ESET does a good job for home use but I have not used it for business.

• I believe that is has already paid for itself protecting our network
• I have not came across anything negative or that has impacted the company in a negative way
