Cisco Desk Camera vs. Cisco Webex Share (discontinued)

It's well-suited for daily/weekly meetings with the teams, and to explain the detailed design of the projects. Also, to host various remote training sessions for new hires. To record the prototype design working model in the laboratory.

Cisco Webex Share is more preferred to use in a meeting with more than 15 people where there are many presentations or content to be shared with others. Once connected with the main screen it becomes easy to share with others. There are scenarios like classroom teaching where Cisco Webex Share will be time-consuming to set up and hence normal HDMI setup will work.

• Bring the cost down just a bit so we can get more of them

• Hard to use
• Sound during sharing is not upto the mark

Cisco Webex Share has made it easy to share the presentations in the meetings and hence the meeting time has drastically reduced. Moreover we have also tried to do collaborative work with Cisco Webex Share and it has been really helpful. Hence overall if something happens to the product I will be more than happy to renew the product.

Don't get me wrong we have purchased less expensive webcams for employees, but I asked for the Cisco Desk Camera for myself as the options and features it has are far better than the others. I just wish they were a bit lower cost so we could get more of them installed.

• It increased the improvement of remote training session by 35% approximately
• Increased the productivity of debugging issues by 20% in the lab with picture quality
• Increased collaboration between different team meetings by 40%

• The discussion among the presentations has become very easy as remotely the members can share their screen. Hence the meeting time has reduced.
• We have been doing business meetings with many companies and hence Cisco Webex Share has made it easy and it has increased the profit of the company.
• Overall the return on investment has also increased.
