Cloudflare Access vs. Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud

I wanted to securely connect to my servers without getting tracked by malicious attackers, even though I was on public Wi-Fi. Security was my top priority, and I also wanted a setup that was easy and quick to start and provided great network performance. Cloudflare's Zero trust matches my criteria for becoming my first choice.

Finding specific Cloud Vendor specific Cloud resource configuration, tags, network information and etc. is fairly easy to do. Cloud alert capabilities are pretty good and with proper knowledge top notch alerts can be created. Only downside I can think of is ease of use.

• Cloudflare still need to improve CASB direction to complete set of SASE tools.
• More integrations with the third-party agents to check device posture in the Zero Trust framework.
• More granularity in firewall rules for full replacement of on-premise solutions.

• Real-time supports would be much appreciated. At the moment they have a third-party ticketing support tool, which can be replaced with real-time support, which can be provided to the user at the time of the issue.
• The user should be provided with all the learning material by the Palo Alto team at the time of license purchase. This would save a lot of users' time, which is taken up by research and finding the correct documents from the website.
• Themes can be introduced in the feature set, which would help the user customize the software as per their needs.

Within a few hours, new engineers are trained in basic tasks and are quite happy they are able to resolve issues independently. After SSO is configured, onboarding is as simple as signing into m365 via a web browser popup.

It is no doubts about their functionalities and top-notch security features. The Products do really well in their every feature and gives you complete visibility to your valuable Data at all. The Support for the Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud is also one of the plus point where you gain the confidence into the product.

Good chat support from the portal for basic questions and minor issues. The enterprise support line is provided as well.

Cloudflare was both the most feature-rich and cost-effective of comparisons. Presales engagement understood our challenges and was keen to solve them.

Prisma Cloud stacks well with other similar Palo Alto products. UI is beautiful, has decent documentation and some trainings as in other platforms.

• The cost of Cloudflare Zero trust is much lower, hence reducing spending on infrastructure security.
• The Network performance is improved thanks to Warp protocol.
• Requires less maintenance and hence saves time.
