Cloudflare Access vs. Titania Nipper

I wanted to securely connect to my servers without getting tracked by malicious attackers, even though I was on public Wi-Fi. Security was my top priority, and I also wanted a setup that was easy and quick to start and provided great network performance. Cloudflare's Zero trust matches my criteria for becoming my first choice.

The tool Titania Nipper is used as a way to improve compliance and risk management, reduce time to market and also provide our customers the needed insight about the possible threats to their network and firewalls. The tool itself we use in conjunction with others, so I can't recommend using only Nipper if a more wide view is needed in terms of vulnerability assessment.

• Block access to known bad, risky, or unwanted destinations at the DNS or HTTP level.

• Cloudflare still need to improve CASB direction to complete set of SASE tools.
• More integrations with the third-party agents to check device posture in the Zero Trust framework.
• More granularity in firewall rules for full replacement of on-premise solutions.

• Support really PCI reports

Within a few hours, new engineers are trained in basic tasks and are quite happy they are able to resolve issues independently. After SSO is configured, onboarding is as simple as signing into m365 via a web browser popup.

Good chat support from the portal for basic questions and minor issues. The enterprise support line is provided as well.

Cloudflare was both the most feature-rich and cost-effective of comparisons. Presales engagement understood our challenges and was keen to solve them.

Although Nipper from Titania helps in auditing accurately every device in the network and helps in prioritizing the fixies, it is really useful for the part of the firewall in a network and also for the quick making of reports which are also customizable. But from our experience, the Qualys solution for scanning the networks, although is more costly, it also has more features and options in regards to assessing a network and the elements connected to the network, though it is also somehow less powerful when it comes to creating quick reports. Qualys has a more interface and dashboard approach regarding the results of the scans.

• The cost of Cloudflare Zero trust is much lower, hence reducing spending on infrastructure security.
• The Network performance is improved thanks to Warp protocol.
• Requires less maintenance and hence saves time.

• We seldom audit the same equipment twice, hence the fixed amount of annual hosts is not very flexible in terms of licensing for our use-case
