Commvault Clumio vs. Quixxi Security

If you are in a highly virtualized infrastructure, Clumio is the only choice right now. It was built in the cloud, for the cloud, and handles on-premise environments very well. If your environment is lots of physical servers or lots of database servers, maybe start with a slower rollout of Clumio, but do not go with something else. Clumio is the answer to backup, now and in the future!

If you are developing mobile apps, you should be doing regular vulnerability scans. Quixxi Scan does this quickly and easily from your working app code. Furthermore, if your company requires compliance with any of the major software development or industry-standard data security standards like SOC -2, the Quixxi scan reports are ideal and can be used "as is."

• Simple to understand but comprehensive PDF report. Ideal for compliance reporting.
• Provides recommendations to resolve vulnerabilities.
• Uses industry standard OWASP framework for vulnerability identification.

• Since Clumio is a new product, it is not as feature-rich as some of the incumbents, but it is still a superior product.
• Customized reporting capabilities are needed for this product.

• Would like to see dynamics scanning added.

Clumio support thas been both responsive, definitive, and helpful. They have been great to deal with as we have worked our way from Proof of Concept, to production roll out. They are quick to answer emails, and also alert us when they see a potential issue. These new "proactive" vendor support models are great to experience

Very good. I only had one problem when implementing it and the Support team was online via chat and helped me straight away.

There was nothing like Clumio to evaluate. We did look at some of the incumbent on-premise solutions that have cloud-based offerings. They all require hardware infrastructures to accomplish their job, thereby locking you into having to manage and update hardware. Clumio displaces these systems by offering a true cloud-based backup with no need to manage hardware, or maintain hardware, or manage software upgrades. And new features are added all the time without having to upgrade!

It was the best value for money and it was easy to use. It was recommended in the top 10 vulnerability scanners.

• We are able to get rid of an aging backup infrastructure and free up expensive rack space.

• It's cheap and comprehensive.
• It's quick and easy to use.
• It can be integrated into X-Code or Android Studio to run as a part of Git code checking or app deployment in the testing stage.
