Comodo Dome Antispam vs. LevelBlue MailMarshal

Spams are getting
common for almost all companies either big or small so this tool is also
becoming a necessity for almost everyone. This tool has all the essentials to
protect the emails box from threats like spam filters, blacklists, and also
archive emails to ensure the availability of emails if there would occur any
mishap. and what makes it a bit unsuitable

is its expensive rates and support team.

In a medium company, it is suited since the cost can be high for a smaller one.

I think there are better and more complete products for companies with higher volume or levels of confidentiality. While it is a good product, today there are several that exceed it in quality and functionality.

• Spam Filteration: it helps in filtering our junk and spam mails that can have any kind of ransomware or any other threat.
• Blacklist: Its blacklist feature is another great feature.
• Installation: We didn’t need any IT guy to help us in the implementation of this tool as it offers an easy installation.

• By having the physical appliance, it is more granular the control that is had of the users, which also accelerates the speed of detection of threats.
• The few options of DLP that it has are very useful when filtering sensitive data, but I stress "few".
• The interface is intuitive, but for more advanced options, it requires a higher than average knowledge of these systems.

• Expensive rate of its subscription.
• Its notification feature sometimes provides false alerts.
• To figure out the problem related to its notification we tried to reach out to its team but they didn’t even respond properly and took a lot of time.

• I know it is not a DLP since there is another specific product for it, but they could do it just a little easier for the average user.
• An intuitive interface in a broader aspect, not only in the basic functions.
• The option only in the cloud is good, but only the appliance offers all the functionalities.

I had heard a lot about SpamTitan and this compelled me to
buy this product but I recognized that it was not worth the hype it was just an
overrated tool. It wasn’t having advanced features but was just following a
monotony. and other than that the Price was an issue. Although we are paying
high for Comodo too at least we are getting something in return but in the case
of Spam Titan, we were getting nothing so it was simply lost and Comodo is
totally a Win-win Situation for me and my company.

Unfortunately all these products are better in almost all aspects. It is not to discredit the Trustwave, but they have much to improve in this area.

• While it is a good product, today there are several that exceed it in quality and functionality.
• In a medium company it is correct, since the cost can be high for a smaller one and it is not worth it.
