CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM vs. Snare

Humio Log Management software has helped a lot in our organisation by automatically streaming all deployment, forms and other memos without needing additional configuration at the application level. It makes parsing logs a lot easier as we can enter our custom parsing rules and structures and conditions. Once the logs are parsed it helps sort and filter data which helps a lot and saves time while working on specific cases and data.

Snare provides compliance products ranging from small footprint, highly effective device, and network logging and log management tools to ID advanced infrastructure threat protection solutions. It has many valued features like activity dashboard, real-time monitoring, data import/export, dashboard creation, and many more. They all help me to improve my working skills It has been a game-changer as it saves a lot of time and I can work freely with this, and whenever I have any doubt the customer support team communicates immediately.

• The tools were very easy to install and it integrates seamlessly with our secure system and prevents deployment.
• Logging cooperates with our system perfectly.
• Sending events to SIEM.
• I have realised that the data collected is going to the centralised detection and prevent solution for analysis and monitoring.

• The UI is very slow and needs lot of improvement
• It does not have premade parses for syslog data
• Scripting challenged users may face many difficulties

• It helps a lot by saving time while finding specific log data thanks to the sort and filter feature
• It helps save time while parsing logs and arranging them
• It is cheaper than other similar softwares in the market and hence is affordable for organizations such as mine
