Dell VPLEX vs. NetApp BlueXP

This works in two fold. First it creates a copy of the data in two locations, protecting the data from a SAN or a NAS failure. Second, it provides a data point in a second location that can be used as storage for a stretched virtual cluster, giving a virtual stack a means to continue operation.

We have used Cloud Compliance and it is effective and suited in Automatic discovery, mapping, and classification of all data. It simplifies discovery, classification, and labeling with powerful automation. It gives an accurate list of data sources, has a great analysis feature. We also used it to handle data in discernment. Cloud Compliance is appropriate and effective in all professional tech settings, from SBO to high industrial performance.

• Requires high bandwidth low latency connectivity between sites.
• Cost wise it is expensive because you have to purchase with a mirror in mind.
• Configuration can be difficult.

When this was purchased there was no other product that could achieve what we were looking for, now this feature is pretty standard with storage platforms. It is a costly solution not just the hardware but the infrastructure to support it. It requires a connection between sites with at least 3 gigabytes per second and sub 5 millisecond latency and a network infrastructure capable of handling that

In contrast to others, NetApp Cloud Data Sense is driven by more powerful AI algorithms that have given space for efficient automated controls and reporting that enables users full privilege over their data. The automatic discovery is trusted, with maps and data classification. Then others analyze well, structured and unstructured data in the cloud, also visualize data better.
