ERPNext vs. Sage 200 Evolution

It is so flexible and configurable that it can be fairly easily adapted to most situations.

As the AP of the company it is good at generating suggested payments and the upload feature to the bank is very helpful

• Locally hosted, so it is very fast
• Help documents are pretty good
• Lots of flexibility in configuration

• Export payments to the bank

• Random errors (seem to be related to python) can be very difficult to troubleshoot.
• Creating reports and print/email documents is very cumbersome and confusing. Needs to have a WYSIWYG editor.

Overall good, but needs some training to get people to be proficient in the system.

Many users use it at the same time with no issue

Wanted something flexible and with the ability to self-host. Open source is also nice.

Not compared to other software as it is a strong software package but may change in the future
